Resources for Educators

We at Maui Humane Society understand that a better life for the people and companion animals of the island begins with providing Maui's youth with the information and resources they need to be responsible pet owners and advocates for the humane treatment of all living things. With this in mind, we would like to make it easier for you to take advantage of our agency as a resource by providing you with this "Humane Education Kit," which has all the information and materials you will need to:

  • book educational presentations
  • book shelter tours
  • provide your students with information about educational programs offered by MHS
  • coordinate with Maui Humane Society on class community service and fundraising projects
  • integrate humane education concepts into your classroom curriculum
