Position Title: Veterinary Technician (full time)
Duties: Under the supervision of the Veterinary Clinic Manager and MHS Veterinarians, provides routine health examinations and health maintenance for all animals sheltered at the Maui Humane Society and assists the veterinarian in surgery. Position Title: Community Cat Coordinator (full time/part time)
Duties: The Community Cats Program Coordinator (CCC) is responsible for the coordination of the Maui Humane Society’s TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) and RTF (Return to Field) programs. The CCC is responsible to make sure that the flow and efficiency of programs are maintained while ensuring humane handling and individualized attention for each cat that goes through our programs. The CCPC works closely with the feral animal specialist, animal technician, veterinary department and community to ensure the proper processing of program cats. The CCC is responsible for facilitating the needs of these programs which will include field work, prioritizing community TNR needs, trapping, organizing volunteers, community relations and the coordination of transport for the RTF and TNR cats that will need to be released.
