Adoptions have dropped significantly since closing to the public, and our ability to transfer animals into adoption-guaranteed care has also been significantly reduced at this time - which is why we need your help more than ever.
Here’s what you can do to help:
If you would like to help save lives by fostering a shelter animal, please start by taking our foster orientation online. We'll get you going from there!
Send much-needed items from our Wish List.
Help us take great care of our shelter animals by choosing much-needed items from our Amazon Wish List and have them delivered straight to our shelter... you don’t even have to leave the house!
Give $5, if you can.
Like most shelters across the country, MHS must come up with ways to keep saving lives in spite of closed doors and cancelled fundraising events.
We did the math and found out that if every one of our 22,000 followers on Facebook donated just $5 today, we would be able to cover the costs of veterinary supplies, medications and vaccines for our shelter animals for an entire year.
If you're in a position to help, please consider sending a little Aloha to Maui's homeless animals in the form of $5 toward their care. That's less than a fancy cup of coffee, but it adds up! And it saves lives.
