Microchip & Wellness Clinic
Maui Humane Society is providing community members who have been affected by the fires with a free microchip and wellness clinic at our Maui Humane Society Lahaina Resource & Donation Distribution Center located at 48 Ulupono Street.
Maui continues to seek support months after Lahaina fires
As of January 16, 2024, MHS brought in 786 animals from the Lahaina burn zone and helped 129 animals get adopted. One hundred and ninety one animals were returned to owners and 152 cats were transferred to the Lahaina Cat Sanctuary.
Coming Together for Maui’s Pets
The Maui Humane Society has been actively involved in rescuing and sheltering animals affected by the wildfire. They provide emergency veterinary care, temporary housing, and facilitate reunions between pets and their owners.
