Success Story: Ehu
Senior dog Ehu was surrendered to MHS back in 2018 because neighbors had complained about barking. We transferred this sweet senior to a rescue partner in Oregon, where she was adopted by Laura – and it’s been love ever since!
Success Story Success Story: Addy
Addy was brought to MHS with a head tilt, possibly from a previous head injury or middle ear infection. That didn’t stop her from winning over the heart of her adopter!
Success Story: Skye
Skye is a fantastic dog, and she has our house and yard to explore and play in. I spend pretty much all day every day with her, and we go for at least one half hour of cardio paced walk every day, plus zoomies and wrestling and silliness every day. My wife adores her too and Skye adores her right back.
Success Story: Baby Cat
Baby Cat has been an absolute Godsend. He hissed at our old cat (Porch Kitty) one time, then Baby Cat realized that he’s really cool and they’ve been inseparable buds since. Porch Kitty took Baby Cat under his wing and there is not a day when I don’t find a mystery mess of destruction.
Success Story: Josh
Stray kitten Josh and his siblings were brought to MHS for help at just a few weeks old when their mother was struck by a car. After growing big and strong in foster care he was transferred through our Wing of Aloha program where he found a loving family in Washington.
Success Story: Biscotti
Biscotti was found wandering as a stray in Paia before being brought to Maui Humane Society for help. Now he’s living the Good Life as Andrea’s Best Friend!
Success Story: Kale (aka Jonah)
“I adopted Jonah this past summer of 2017. He’s living that good life on West Maui. He’s got a German Shepherd sister named Lani, goes for daily hikes in Kapalua and eats nothing but gourmet food.”
