Maui County only requires pet licenses for dogs.
Cats, critters, and other animals are exempt.

NEW 2025-2026 MHS / Pethub Licenses:
For Renewals:
- If you ever had a Maui County dog license, log in using your person number or dog license number and last name. This will access your existing record and dogs whose licenses can be renewed.
- Your person number can be found on your license renewal reminder letter right above your name. If you don’t have your reminder letter, contact us at [email protected] or (808) 877-3680 ext. 3.
For New Licenses:
- If you ever had a Maui County license for any dog, log in using your person number and last name. If you don’t know your person number, contact us at [email protected] or (808) 877-3680 ext. 3.
- If this is your first Maui County license, click on “Create New Account” below.
