Miso loves splashing in the pool, playing with toys, enjoying treats, and romping during playtime. He’s a sweet boy who just needs a slow, gentle approach to new experiences while he continues building confidence.
After everything he’s been through, Happy is more than ready to find a forever home where he can feel safe, loved and understood. He has so much joy to give and is just waiting for the right ‘ohana to share it with!
Aspen adores the simple joys: hunting bugs, batting around toys, nibbling on cat grass and playing with hair ties (her favorite!). While she’s not a fan of being picked up, she absolutely melts for cheek scratches, gentle pets and a relaxing brushing session.
Life in the shelter has been hard on Usher. He’s struggling in the busy environment and truly needs a calm, comforting home by Oct. 30. Usher would do best in a home with another calm and friendly female dog to help him feel safe and confident.
Squeaky toys are his favorite, and he never says no to a yummy treat. Bee-Boop is smart and enjoys learning new things, so he would be great with someone who can play with him and teach him tricks.

Three-year-old Rell Sunn and his nine siblings were handed to the Maui Humane Society after the owner sadly passed away in June. Though his siblings have been adopted, Rell Sunn is still waiting to “ride the waves of life with a new ohana.” Officials said this pup is shy when you first meet him but after a calm and gentle introduction, Rell Sunn will show off his heart full of love and playfulness.
Romeo is a playful and loving dog with a challenging past who is still waiting for his forever home at the Maui Humane Society. Found alongside his sister Juliet in September 2024, Romeo’s journey has been one of recovery and transformation. While Juliet has already found a home, Romeo continues to seek the perfect family to call his own.
Cowie has become a fan favorite at Maui Humane Society, with her own fan club, “Club Cowie.” She loves spending time in staff offices, chewing on plush toys, and getting cuddles and kisses from her club members.
The Maui Humane Society is hopeful that Sammy will find a family willing to show him the love and joy he’s been waiting for.
