Communities across Maui have been hit hard by the coronoavirus pandemic and many are struggling to feed their beloved pets. This week, Officer Mani White and other Humane Enforcement Officers heard the call, loaded up their trucks, and delivered over 2,000 lbs. of pet food to those in need.

The Maui Humane Society (MHS), announced today that one of their adopted alumni been chosen to compete in the “2020 American Rescue Dog Show” airing on the Hallmark Channel this weekend. The event, now in its third year, is a two-night special and it is the only canine competition of its kind that focuses the spotlight on dogs adopted from shelters and rescue organizations.
Maui Humane Society Does 97 Adoptions in Seven Days
Maui Humane Society (MHS) announces today that in the past seven days, ninety seven (97) animals have been adopted as part of the Home for the Holidays adoption campaign. This includes: 63 cats, 24 dogs and 10 critters. Thanks to a donation from the Savitt Family Foundation, adoption fees on all adoptable animals are being paid for now through the end of the year.
