MAUI, Hawaii (KITV4) — The Maui Humane Society’s 2024 Pet Calendar Photo Contest is back. Donations from the contest are used to help shelter animals at the Maui Humane Society.
This year’s theme is “Aloha Spirit” and pet owners are encouraged to share why “we’re lucky to live in Hawaii.” All entries are required to be submitted horizontally; vertical and square pictures will not be considered.
The top 12 photos will be featured as “Pets of the Month,” and runner ups will be placed in smaller locations in the calendar. All entrants will receive a coupon for 50% off on a single calendar.
Don’t have a pet? You can still vote online until June 30 by selecting your favorite photo. Each vote is $1, with a $5 minimum donation.
The Maui Humane Society took care of 4,919 animals last year, and provided multiple services for animals.
