Maui Now: Maui Humane Society Reopens Shelter to Public

Maui Humane Society is expanding operating hours and opening its doors to the public for adoptions after being appointment-only since the pandemic began.

“We’re hoping that the additional convenience for the public to visit the shelter will result in increased adoptions as we continue to maintain a high population of dogs and cats. Appointments do continue to be required for surrender/intake and other services besides adoption,” according to an MHS spokesperson.
