Maui Humane Society putting its paws out in the community. Whether you’ve been directly or indirectly affected by the fires, we can help you with pet supplies to keep your pets with you!
To date, Maui Humane Society has distributed more than 17,000 lbs of pet food and supplies to emergency shelters, distribution checkpoints, parks, churches, hotels, and individuals in need throughout the island.
We have received an overwhelming amount of physical donations from our local community and abroad, which we are prioritizing to distribute to all pet owners who have been directly or indirectly affected by these fires, across Maui Nui. As emergency shelters close down, we are partnering with organizations across the island to ensure that pet supplies are distributed from Hana to Kula to Napili to keep pets in homes. Distribution sites for pet food and supplies are shifting to the following locations:
West:
- Lahaina Gateway
- Napili Plaza
- Hyatt in Ka’anapali
- beach parks
South:
- Moose McGillycuddys and Maui Brewing Co
- Churches and beach parks
- Kihei Community Center
Central:
- Maui Humane Society (11am-5pm, 7 days/week)
- Churches and beach parks
- Mega (Disaster Recovery Center) in Kahulu
Upcountry:
- Oskie Rice and Hannibal Tavares Center
East:
- Hana Farmer’s Market (8/25)
These locations may continue to change and other sites may be added.
