Maui Humane Society’s CEO, Steve MacKinnon presented during AAWA’s (Association for Animal Welfare Advancement) annual conference, Looking Forward: The Future of Animal Welfare. The Association is the only international society of leaders actively leading and managing community animal shelters/animal control agencies. With Steve’s extensive policing career, he educated the animal welfare world on how to become better problem solvers using SARA.
