Maui Humane Society Offering Sponsored Adoption Fees on All Cats Six Months and Older

Puunene, HI (10/8/19): Due to a recent influx of cats, the Maui Humane Society (MHS) announces that adoption fees on all adoptable cats six months and older are being sponsored. All cat adoptions include: spay/neuter surgery, first vaccination and worming, one month flea control, free physical exam at participating local veterinarian, microchip, two weeks of follow up health care, cat caddy, a 1lb bag of Science Diet cat food and 30 free days of pet insurance through 24PetWatch.

”Adult cats are generally the ones that we see staying at MHS longer and the sponsored adoption fees will allow many of them the chance to find their forever homes,” said Jamie Fitzpatrick, COO, Maui Humane Society. “We hope our community will take advantage of the sponsored adoption fees and they can find a place in their hearts and homes for our wonderful adult cats.”

For more information about Maui Humane Society or to view all adoptable cats, please visit the Maui Humane Society website at:  www.mauihumanesociety.org or call (808) 877-3680 ext. 3. Maui Humane Society is open seven days a week from 11am-6pm.

The Maui Humane Society takes in more than 6,000 animals annually, and serves many times that number through community outreach programs. Equally important, through the many programs and services offers, MHS provides support for Maui’s approximately 90,000 pet owners as well as Animal Management Services for the County of Maui.
