HONOLULU (KHON2) — This week’s Wags and Whiskers feature is Aspen. She’s a five-year-old, soft-spoken queen kitty ready to find her forever home with you!
In June, Aspen came to Maui Humane Society and has slowly but surely let her personality bloom. She’s a quiet, reserved, indoor-only cat who prefers a calm home where she can feel safe, loved and understood.
Aspen adores the simple joys: hunting bugs, batting around toys, nibbling on cat grass and playing with hair ties (her favorite!). While she’s not a fan of being picked up, she absolutely melts for cheek scratches, gentle pets and a relaxing brushing session.
She’s also a bit of a night owl and will happily chat with you during her late-night explorations. Aspen can be nervous with certain sounds or unfamiliar spaces, but her confidence grows more each day.
This sweet girl needs to be the only kitty in your castle—she’s not one for sharing her kingdom with other cats. But with her humans? She’s affectionate, loyal, and truly loving.
